PUWORLD (2012-7-26)—Tosoh has acquired the remaining shares of NPU (Nippon Polyurethane Industry) from hodogaya chemicals and has made NPU its fully-owned subsidiaries. Before this acquisition, Tosoh has already had 80.28% of total shares of NPU, who mainly produce polyurethane feedstock such as TDI and MDI. This acquisition won’t cause any impact on normal operation and sales of NPU.
