We are pleased to inform you that The Dow Chemical Company and its affiliates are
implementing improvements to enhance the capabilities of our Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) systems. The purpose of this investment is to provide an upgraded ERP
platform to better service customers and markets in our region.
On August 5, 2014, we will begin using our new ERP system in Canada, Mexico, and the
United States. This new system may affect how you conduct business with Dow or the
way you place orders with our company.
What is changing?
The improvements will result in changes in the format of some documents you receive
from Dow such as invoices, Certificates of Analysis, and Certificates of Compliance
To ensure a smooth transition, Dow will initiate a non-shipment period for a short
period of time prior to August 5th. This non-shipment period will begin on August 1st and
end on August 4th. We ask you to work with us now in order to ensure that orders are
placed to meet your needs for delivery before or after these dates.
We will work closely with you to ensure seamless operation through our system update.
